Denver are far from box office.

During their Super Bowl-winning run with Peyton Manning at the helm, versatile pass catchers everywhere and then a dominating defence, the Broncos were on primetime TV almost every week.

Now, they have the NFL’s least known QB at the helm in Drew Lock and aside from Von Miller, few notable players on either side of the ball.
Melvin Gordon landed in the Mile High City on a reasonably fair $8 million per season deal and he will give this Broncos offence some punch, albeit in a share role alongside Phillip Lindsay.
Courtland Sutton has the potential to develop into a genuine WR1 whilst tracking Jerry Jeudy’s progress will be fascinating. Is he too slight to be a consistently effective weapon or will his immaculate route-running make him hard to guard?

Lock is also of great intrigue.
He’d be one of very few starting NFL quarterbacks who could walk into his local Footlocker and go largely unnoticed. Broncos fans will be hoping that changes because of his play on the field.

Going into Mile High Stadium and winning is a task, no matter how good or bad you think the Broncos may be and that will remain in 2020/21 but in a tough division, Denver will do well to get to 8-8.
